By the Way, Where Am I?

This is where I live:

I'm living on Haffenreffer Estate, at the base of a little teeny mosquito-bite of a "mountain" (200-something foot Mount Hope) on the western shore of Mount Hope Bay in Bristol, Rhode Island. If you remember your U.S. history lessons, I'm living on the site of King Phillip's (Metacom's) War, the last Native American stronghold in the northeast to fall to the white settlers. I'm also living on the outskirts of quaint Bristol, whose claim to fame is the oldest Fourth of July parade in the country. Their Independence Day parties began around the 4th of June and the center line of Main Street is colored red, white, and blue. No USDoT yellow for these guys.
