Why is power so corruptive? Why do such intelligent people become so cruel? Why so many threats, attacks, terrorism, wars, manipulation, bribery, ... ?

True leadership is knowing when to step up and when to step back. As we tell the kids at BELL , diversify your leadership styles. Sometimes it is much more powerful to listen and observe, to ask questions, and to let the group teach itself. You can't be a leader without any followers.
