Just in time for spring, I finished knitting my first hat! I've previously been intimidated by the idea of knitting anything other than a rectangle (scarves, washcloths, pot holders), but take note--I, Claire, learned the art of circular needles, double pointed needles, purling, and ribbing. Go me!
Without further ado, here's the evolution of my new hat:

| Almost finished! I battled my way from five needles back to two, and it wasn't a particularly pretty process. But I ended up with the right number of stitches, so I count that as a win! |

| Now the only question is, do I add a pompom or not? |
